Humble Beginnings
Dragonfly Therapeutic Retreat Company was established in Shanghai, China in 2003 with a small 140 m2 retreat. It has grown into a world-class brand - but at heart remains very much a Chinese company with deep roots in Shanghai. We believe it is the first service brand in Chinato successfully extend itself abroad.
Our Customers
Dragonfly appeals to men, to women and to couples. Dragonfly customers include foreign travelers, expatriate residents, and sophisticated local Chinese -- all of whom appreciate value for money. Our customers demand a high quality of service at a reasonable price. Dragonfly customers appreciate the sophisticated ambience of our shops, our attention to detail, and the consistency of our friendly customer service.
Our Staff
Dragonfly staff are carefully selected and rigorously trained in-house in the Dragonfly Academy that we launched in July 2006, to enable us to better source qualified massage therapists and beauty technicians to work in our retreats throughout China - and abroad. We provide professional training and career growth opportunities for hard working, dedicated staff that come from all over China. Our workers are well paid and well treated and enjoy healthy modern working conditions.

Our Management Team
Dragonfly operations are managed by a professional, multinational team with more than 25 years experience serving sophisticated and demanding customers. Our corporate office is based in Shanghai.
